- The SDQ II, a self-concept measure for high school students, is based on the Shavelson model of self-concept and the multiple dimensions of self-concept posited in that model. The SDQ II contains 11 scales of self-concept defined by responses to 122 items, approximately half of which are negatively worded, on a “1-False” to “6-True” response scale.
